It is obtained from the distillation of fermented pomace of fine grapes, ripened on the slopes of Etna in the warm Sicilian sun.
The vines that contribute to obtaining the prized Grappa of Etna are: Nerello Mascalese, Cataratto and Nerello Cappuccio.
Nerello Cappuccio, with a good gustatory structure and a pleasantly fruity aroma, grows above all in the provinces of Catania and Messina.
Cataratto, an ancient Sicilian vine, has a good aromatic profile with light fruity scents and floral notes and a taste that tends towards soft.
Nerello Mascalese, with its excellent aromatic range and with its elegance and personality, helps to give organicity to the whole, managing to create a distillate of great value, with a soft and harmonious taste.
