AMARANCA is a bitter obtained from the processing of Sicilian wild oranges and the extraction of medicinal herbs and roots collected on the slopes of Etna, carefully selected and processed according to an ancient family recipe preserved unchanged over time.
The complete recipe with the list of all the herbs and the exact doses still remains secret today and the preparation in its final phase is carried out behind closed doors by the family members who carry on the company.
A bitter with an unmistakable taste and therapeutic and aphrodisiac properties. It has a dark colour, with a not excessively bitter flavour. It is drunk straight or on the rocks, preferably with orange peel and/or fresh mint leaves. Mainly used as a digestive or summer drink (with lots of ice).
Important success of the Nobile Amaro dell'Etna Amaranca obtained the Silver Medal at the "International Wine and Spirit Competition" (IWSC) in London, which rewards the excellence of wines, liqueurs and spirits throughout the world and promotes recognition of quality products.
The Competition, now in its 49th edition, has received product samples from around 90 countries around the world, judging them based on their category, thanks to the contribution of professional tasting venues, a permanent on-site cellar and over 400 international experts .
For Amaranca, a global recognition that gives further prestige to the product and increases its popularity and visibility, and which makes the large "Romeo Vini" family proud and proud.
Amaranca, among the excellences ISCL'"International Spirits Challenge" has announced the winners of the 24th edition and AMARANCA confirms itself as the only Italian Amaro to win the Silver medal among herbal liqueurs. Every year a jury made up of 50 experts in the Spirits sector tastes more than 1700 products from over 70 countries, evaluating and differentiating them by category, taste, origin, design and packaging.
The rigorous tasting process demonstrates that only the best products and producers receive an ISC award, an extraordinary decoration for any spirit, and the Romeo Vini company is proud to have met every standard of excellence and quality required by the competition.
