This "bummolo" was used as a water bottle. Today it is a splendid piece of furniture, which tastefully decorates your home. The Malandrino's bummolo or bummulu is an ancient and highly appreciated object of Sicilian tradition. Precisely because of the cunning and ingeniousness of its structure it is called del malandrino. The bummolo is taken from the base, turned upside down and water is poured into the opening. The quantity of water will depend on the capacity of the internal compartment.

Once in its position, with the base resting, not a drop will spill. To use the liquid inside, it will be used as any other jug.
